Sumi interviews Kaz Tekeda. Allen Stein (ZNA Local Certified Judge amd Assistant Show Chairmain of ZNA SO CAL Koi Show 2011) comments about Kaz. Kaz was one of the early dealers of Niigata Nishikigoi in United States. He also had done a lot of things for the Koi Hobby. He is one of the founding members of Golden Gate Koi Club in Southern California. This club is claimed to be the first Koi Club in United States. He also produced History of Niigata Nishikigoi video. Eventhough he lost all of his koi due to KHV, his passion towards koi is everlasting. It was a great pleasure for us to meet him at the ZNA SO Cal Koi Show 2011. |
