The Puget Sound Koi Show was on August 4th and 5th 2012. The show was held at the Hoshi Koi Farm. Vik Nair and David Young were the Koi Judges. Hoshi Koi Farm is in Tacoma, WA. As you enter there is a beautiful Koi Pond with a good landscape. The whole farm is surrounded with 20 acres or more of blueberry bush. On Sunday morning, the judges began commenting about each fish.

July 28th & 29th 2012 was the ZNA Northwest Koi Show. It was a beautiful weather. The Brewer's festival was going on at Portland Downtown. The show was held at the World Forestry Center by the Oregon Zoo. Eventhough there wasn't as much as fish entered as last year, the selection and quality of the fish was an eye catcher. Olson's koi took home the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion titles. There were visitors from California, Arizona, Idaho, Washington and Florida.

On July 14th 2012 was the combined koi show of Inland Empire Water Garden & Koi Society (IEWGKS) and North Idaho Koi Keepers (NIKK). It was a private show held at John & Linda Seifert’s backyard. Though the show was a one day event, there was a lot of koi entered. As the judging panel they had Larry Gill and Dick Benbow.

It's been almost a year since we have blogged. We are expecting our fourth child. We don't know the gender of the baby yet, but soon we'll be able to find out. Sumi is due in October.
